A very balanced Chardonnay from 30 year old vines

Domaine Mathias is an exciting seventh-generation Burgundy producer in Pouilly-Fuissé, started by Antoine Charvet in 1894. The vineyards are certified organic and are farmed biodynamically. Gilles Mathias matches the techniques of their ancestors with modern research to make clean, pure wines with a nod to the fulsome regional style.

The vines are planted on east-facing hillsides, with clay-limestone soils. The wine is light and fruity. It has had some time on lees, but no oak aging. Beautifully perfumed with notes of pineapple, peach, apricot, and a wonderful creaminess.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
