Fruity and moreish sparkling red Merlot

Maison Valentin Piquereaux is the result of the merger of Perrine & Christophe with their friend and neighbour Philippe. This brough together two small Bordeaux vineyards of 9 and 6 hectares, on beautiful plateaus overlooking the right bank of the Dropt and framing the Bastide of Monségur in the South-East of Bordeaux.

Bulles de Valentin Rouge is a sparkling red made from organically grown Merlot. Grapes undergo a short vinification in stainless steel tanks to emphasise the fruity notes, followed by a 2nd fermentation in the the traditional method and 9 months aging on fine lees. A deep carmine colour, this wine offers bright scents of wild strawberries and cherries on the nose. Fresh and elegant on the palate, with fine, persistent bubbles that don’t drown out the fruit. The finish is lengthy and refreshing.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
