Frequently Asked Questions

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

Wine orders*: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Food orders*: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

*Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge.

If you are using our local delivery service: we deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

If you are using our national delivery service: Most orders are dispatched within two working days, on a 24 hour service. If you need your order for a specific date, please contact us. As we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.

We offer a selection of gift hampers, some of which contain cheese. These hampers are not available for national delivery.

Our business is based in a small railway arch, and we do not have the space to store the required packaging that would be needed to get these products to you in good condition.

We therefore offer hampers containing cheese for local delivery and shop collection only.

Vintages shown on our website are indicative and not guaranteed, as our stock is changing all the time.

If you are interested in a particular vintage of a wine, please contact us before ordering to confirm availability.

If you are using our local delivery service, we can accommodate a specific day, as these parcels are delivered by our team. Add a note to your order at checkout, or drop us an email after ordering.

If you are using our national delivery service, we can dispatch items to arrive on or around a specific day but this can not be guaranteed due to delays in the courier system outside of our control.

Our return policy for all products (except event tickets) is 14 days from delivery. If more than 14 days have passed, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We are unable to cover the cost of returning the item to us.

To begin a return, please contact info@victorindigonovember.co.uk stating your order number.

We aim to supply our wines in excellent condition however should any wine be faulty we will provide a full refund or replacement. We may require faulty bottles to be returned to us. In case of a faulty or out of condition wine please reseal the bottle and contact us within 24 hours of opening the wine.

Faulty bottles and their contents should be retained until a conclusion is reached on the course of action to be taken. Please note in the case of faulty bottles, that we can only offer refunds or replacements up to 6 months from moment of purchase, providing the bottles have been properly stored.

Our regular opening hours are as follows:

Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm – 8pm
Sundays, 12pm – 6pm

As a small business, we do have to occasionally make changes to our opening hours due to holidays or private events. Please check our social media pages.

We accommodate both bookings and walk ins. We are a small venue with limited capacity, so we recommend booking if you are visiting in a group of 4 or more – particularly at peak times.

Due to the size and nature of our venue, we are unable to accommodate groups larger than 8 at any time.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are very welcome, at all times.

Dog treats, blankets and water can be provided. Just ask.

Under 18s are welcome before 6pm, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Our licence does not allow Under 18s to be on the premises after 6pm.

We offer a small menu of sharing boards and snacks, featuring French cheeses and charcuterie. You can download our food menu here.

We also host food pop ups in our events space. Upcoming dates can be seen here.

In addition to our regularly changing by the glass list, customers are welcome to choose any bottle from our retail range. We offer a fixed corkage charged of £8 on any bottle. If you would like us to have the bottle chilling (or warming!) in our wine fridges, give us a call ahead of your visit.

Yes we do! Wine tasting events are a big part of what we do at Victor Indigo November.

Our events offer a fun, relaxed environment to learn more about wine. The focus is on enjoyment, rather than education, but you’ll definitely come away with some new knowledge.

We can offer private hire from May 2026, and can accommodate parties of up to 40.

Yes, we do! We offer both e-gift cards, which can be ordered online here, and physical gift cards which can be purchased in store.

Both options can be used in store across our full retail and drink in range. Vouchers have no expiry date.

Unfortunately, our gift vouchers can not currently be used as payment on our website.

We do not offer gift wrapping, however you can choose one of our gift boxes to create your own hamper.

We offer a wine subscription called Vin Club, which is a great option if you want to try new wines and trust us to choose them for you!

Vin Club is £95, which includes six wines, notes on the wines, and delivery to your door.

Vin Club is completely personalised to you. When you sign up, you can choose whether you would like reds, whites or a mixed box.

Absolutely. When you sign up, you can choose either monthly or quarterly deliveries.
