Rich red blend of Carignan & Mourvèdre

Domaine de Poulvarel was created in 2004 by Elisabeth and Pascal Glas. The vineyards are located near Pont du Gard, where the Rhône meets the Languedoc. The estate is certified as High Environmental Value, demonstrating that all vineyard work is aimed at preserving the environment and the natural character of their wines. With its location in the most northerly area of the Costières de Nîmes appellation, the Domaine benefits from the quality of the terroir and the climate here.

La Croix de Busquet is a Vin de France, produced with Carignan & Mourvèdre. Aged in both concrete and oak barrels, this is an expressive red with notes of juniper, cloves, nutmeg, bramble and cayenne pepper. Rich and well balanced on the palate, with fine tannins.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
