Native to Bordeaux, Clairet is a deep coloured, fruit-forward rosé

Xavier and Caroline Perromat took over Château Calvimont in 2012, along with Château de Cérons. The couple purchased Xavier’s parents’ estate and actively began to put their own stamp on the vines and the wines.

Their Clairet, a deep rosé unique to Bordeaux, is made with hand harvested Cabernet Sauvignon. A bright, brilliant ruby colour with hints of grenadine. The nose is very expressive with fresh red cranberry fruit, and it is light and juicy on the palate with a whisper of tannin to give some gentle structure. A long, mouthwatering finish. Serve lightly chilled.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
