La Luminaille, Côtes du Rhône Blanc Luminaris

Fresh yet densely fruity CdR Blanc, with low alcohol for the region

La Luminaille is a special place in local folklore, found behind the village of Rasteau, to the north of the appellation and surrounded by hills reaching 450m, it takes its name from the olive leaves’ extraordinary radiance during a full moon.

A blend of 60% Clairette, along with 30% Marsanne and 10% Bourboulenc. The vines are 30 years old, which helps to add depth and complexity to the fruit flavours. The vines are planted at 350m – 400m altitude, where it is a little cooler and that helps preserve freshness in the final wine.

Freshly sliced pear on the nose, with refreshing acidity and a hint of provencal herbs on the palate. It’s rounded, with a bit of body, making it very food friendly.
