Medium-dry Grolleau Gris with refreshing acidity

Founded in 1994 by Jean-Charles Moreau on the banks of the Loire, Domaine Moncourt today covers some fifty hectares between Anjou and Saumur, with a diversity of grape varieties and terroir. Combining respect for tradition, they embody the values and heart of a father and son working with passion! In addition, they own Vignoble de l’Ecasserie, born in 2021 from association with the Reulier family. This vineyard of about fifty hectares is part of the family tradition and heritage for three generations, also based in the heart of the best terroirs of the Layon in the commune of Bellevigne-en-Layon.

This is 100% Grolleau Gris, produced in a medium-dry style. Noticeably sweet but with soaring acidity to keep things refreshing, this has intense notes of exotic fruits and a touch of white pepper.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
