A dry, mineral and textured Riesling that shows the potential for the variety in Piemonte

Grapes are sourced from the one hectare Fontanino plot of the 60 hectare Il Cascinone estate, in the Monferrato area of north west Italy. The Riesling grapes were planted in 2002 on an east facing slope and are grown in the coolest vineyard sites, where they can ripen slowly. After pressing the juice is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and spends 4 months on fine lees before being bottled.

A fine, delicate, dry classic Riesling with aromas of crunchy green apple, lime and a touch of lemongrass. The palate is fresh and balanced with lemon peel characters and mineral notes adding complexity to the finish.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
