A lovely introduction to the classic Greek Agiorgitiko (pronounced ‘Ah-yor-YEE-te-ko’ !) grape

Domaine Papagiannakos was established in 1919 in the heart of the plain of Mesogaia, Attica – just 30km from the shadow of the Acropolis. Third generation winemaker, Vassilis Papagiannakos, was born and bred in Markopoulo, and grew up around the family winery.

Erythros is a blend of 70% Agiorgitiko grapes and the remainder Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripe dark fruit aromas with a hint of spice. The wine has rich bramble fruit with notes of blackcurrant pastille, and is finely structured with well-integrated French oak, fine tannins, a light savoury note and a twist of liquorice on the finish.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
