Great value, textured Chardonnay from Piedmont

The 5 hectare Campo Fiorito vineyard is located on the north-east facing slopes of the Il Cascinone estate, in the Monferrato hills of Piedmont (planted in 1998). This cooler site is perfect for the slower maturation needed to produce fresh whites. Grapes are typically harvested between the end of August and the beginning of September. Around 15% of the wine was fermented and aged in French oak barriques for added richness and complexity.

A delicate nose of ripe stone fruit, lightly honeyed with a hint of creamy oak. The complex palate is concentrated and well-balanced with ripe peach characters, an appealing mouthfeel and a fresh, long finish with some savoury, toasty notes.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
