A rich and oaky Mendoza Malbec

Andrea Ferreyra has been Head Winemaker at La Celia since 2012. A qualified oenologist, she has over 20 years of experience in the industry and joined La Celia for the 2006 harvest. Her dedication, ability and great love for wines led to Andrea being named Head Winemaker at La Celia in 2012 and then being awarded as the best female winemaker at the 5th edition of the SAKURA “Japan Women’s Wine Awards” competition.

The Malbec grapes are sourced from Uco Valley and aged in a mixture of concrete and French oak barrels for around 9 months. Intensely fruited with oaky notes of caramel and cocoa, and silky soft tannins. It has a long finish and great vivacity.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
