A limited production cuvée, made from pure Syrah grown on (volcanic) basalt rock

The Vignerons Ardéchois Cave Co-opérative has its roots in the late 1960s when the Presidents of 7 major cave co-opératives agreed a unified policy of modernisation, re-planting and marketing. Based in the town of Ruoms, this forward-thinking, modernist collective has done much to revive the fortunes of this ancient vine-area, which dates back to Roman times.

The properties of the volcanic soil hold the heat from the sun, helping get the best from the Syrah vines. The resulting wine is balanced, with powerful aromatics of spice and red fruit, and a texture of soft tannins.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
