Natural Loire Valley Chenin Blanc produced from old vines

Julien is a kind, sensitive and soft-spoken vigneron with a strong thirst for knowledge: as well as being a bee-keeper (a passion depicted on his labels), he studied winemaking in Dijon, brewed beer with monks in Belgium, made cheese in Italy and researched sake yeasts in Japan! Returning to France he chose the Loire for its proximity to Brittany (where he grew up).

Pont Borceau is 100% Chenin Blanc, from vines planted in 1973. It was fermented in fibre glass, then bottled without fining or filtration. The result is fresh and quaffable, but with a quince and honey note bringing depth to the wine.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
