A fresh and fruity, low-intervention, Mauzac

Poivre d’Ane was formed in 2013 by three friends (two winemakers, one sommelier) with the aim of offering affordable, clean wines which respect the environment.

The grapes for this 100% Mauzac wine are source from an organic plot of old vines in Limoux at 380m. Mauzac is the grape behind the well known sparkling wine Blanquette de Limoux but it also makes wonderful still wines. This is an excellent example, with notes of honeysuckle, white flowers, and herbs, all held together by taut acidity. Very naturally made, with tiny levels of SO2.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
