Soft and juicy Grenache/Syrah blend from Corbières

Aubert et Mathieu, two school friends who each grew tired of their respective professional lives, decided to leave everything behind to pursue a slightly crazy dream: to create non-conformist and offbeat wines. They launched Aubert & Mathieu in 2016, and their first vintage was released in March 2019.

The Aubert et Mathieu identity is based on producing niche wines from the best terroirs of Languedoc-Roussillon while highlighting the nuances and singularities of each appellation. The DNA of their wines shows the perfect mastery of freshness, balance and the search for complexity. Inspiration, carefree and a little fantasy led them on their way!

Marie Antoinette is 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah from high altitude vineyards in Corbières. It is aged for 6 months in concrete, giving a soft and juicy red. Notes of Red and black fruits, herbs, touch of menthol.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
