Malbec from altitude in the Pyrenees

This old vine Malbec was sourced mainly from the wild mountain landscape of the Aude, with just little Malbec from the lower hills of Minervois added. The vineyards in the Aude are located up in the Pyrenees at 400m. Tempered by the altitude and the cooler nights thanks to elevation and proximity to the Pyrenees, ideal conditions for longer, slower ripening which results in a finer profile than Malbec grown in warmer climates.

Notes of mulberry with underlying redcurrant and blackcurrant aromas. Complex on the palate, with fine raspberry and red-fruit flavours backed by a touch of chocolate truffle richness. A mid-weight harmonious wine.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
