Cuvée Rebelle transports you back to a time when rosé was made in a slow, traditional style

The exceptional terroir of this renowned estate is recognised through its Cru Classé status and results in wines of elegance and complexity with long-term cellaring potential. This wine is winemaker Pierre Duffort’s reaction to the frivolous, fashionable ‘bling bling’ (as he describes them) rosés of recent years. Plots selected to make Rebelle are some of the oldest on the Domaine de Rimauresq estate, planted on schist over forty years ago. Due to the north-west aspect and shade from the intense sun given by the Massif des Maures mountains, Grenache and Syrah ripen slowly before being harvested in the cooler hours of the morning.

For Rebelle, Pierre Duffort opted for the the slower rosé de saignée (bleeding) method, with fermentation by naturally occurring yeasts only. Appropriately for this traditional cuvée, the bottle harks back to the style and shape used by the estate in the 1950s. A serious and full-bodied style of rosé, this has aromas of red berries and subtle wild herbs. The palate is broad, rich and complex with a long finish.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
