A modern style of Cornas, produced from small parcels in prime locations

Maxime Graillot has followed in his father Alain’s footsteps, and after studying at the Dijon Wine School he struck out on his own in 2004 working 6.5 hectares of vines on a site called ‘Les Pichères’ close to his father’s estate on the Chassis plateau in Crozes Hermitage.

This Cornas wine has a bright core of blackcurrant and black cherry fruit supported by soft tannins, peppery undertones and deftly-integrated oak. If decanted, you could happily drink this precocious offering from release but it will undoubtedly benefit from 5 to 10 years bottle-age.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
