A classic, unoaked, crisp Chardonnay, from near Chablis

Stéphane Brocard grew up in Chablis, but found his family’s wine business becoming crowded when working alongside his brother and sister-in-law, and sister and brother-in-law. An intimate knowledge of Burgundy and a hankering to do his own thing led him to set up a boutique négociant business – Closerie des Alisiers – contracting in small parcels of carefully selected grapes.

Hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes grown on chalky soil at Tonnerre, 20km east of Chablis, are pressed and vinified in stainless steel prior to a ten-month élevage. Dry and crisp with nervy minerality, a whistle-clean unoaked palate and an elegant dry finish.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
