Boudin noir, a delicious blood sausage with a unique and earthy flavour, produced by The Anne Rozès cannery

Boudin Noir is popular in French cuisine. It is made using pig’s blood, pork meat, onions and spices. The ingredients are mixed together to create a flavourful and rich sausage filling, which is then encased. The end result: a delicious, dark sausage that’s perfect for pan-frying or throwing on the grill.

Preparation: Put the can in the fridge 3 hours before using. Open both sides. Push the dated side to cut slices to the desired thickness. Enjoy with bread or as a petit four. Goes very well with apple.

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.


Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Delivery takes 1 – 2 working days.
