Organic Bordeaux from a historic family winery

The history of Château Grand Français dates back to the 15th century, when the property was surrounded by 600 hectares of farmed vines and cereals. It was passed down from generation to generation to eventually land in the good hands of Dominique Vacher, who proudly continues his family legacy. Benefiting from a 15th century cellar, 8 hectares of organically-certified vineyards, and a traditional savoir-faire, Dominique Vacher and Château Grand Français produce some of the finest, most distinguished Bordeaux wines.

Made from 40 year old vines, and aged in oak for 12 months, Origines is a smooth and approachable red with ripe berry fruit and gentle spice.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
