A restrained and elegant Northern Rhône Viognier

Having trained as a mechanic, Yves Cuilleron got bitten by the wine bug in the 1980s. So when his uncle retired in 1987, Yves jumped at the chance to run the family estate. At the time, Condrieu was relatively unknown, and Yves’ perfectionist approach from vine-planting to wine bottling resulted in wines that were to grab the attention of both consumers and critics – making them hugely in-demand, and raising the profile of the appellation as a whole. 

Vignes d`à Côté is a blend of vineyard plots located in the ‘Collines Rhodaniennes’ IGP area. The name refers to the vineyards being situated next to the delimited appellation zone. Expect a typical Viognier nose with ripe yellow fruits such as apricot and nectarine, and a hint of violet. Juicy and fresh on the palate with a tangy finish.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
