Silky smooth Cabernet Franc

8th generation winemaker Fabien Duveau has around 20 hectares of vines spread across almost 40 different parcels in various parts of Saumur’s most famous and important vineyards. He works out of a remarkable 14th Century cellar carved deep into the tuffeau rock beneath the village of Chace, just south of Saumur itself. Fabien’s farming and winemaking is entirely certified organic.

From vines grown on a combination of clay and limestone soils in the village of Verrains. Vinified with indigenous yeast, exclusively in concrete vat. Bright red fruits and the gentlest of silky smooth tannin. Serve with the lightest chill to show it at its best.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
