Rarely seen white wine from Madiran

In 1992 when she was just 23, Christine Dupuy took over 6ha of family vineyards when her father died unexpectedly, becoming the youngest winemaker in the Madiran appellation. Vines here are an average age of 50 years old – with one small parcel of pre-phylloxera vines over 140 years old. The vines are pruned hard to ensure a low yield. The Madiran appellation is better known for red wine production, and Pacherenc wines are hard to come by in the UK. Christine Dupuy produces just a few hundred cases per year.

The wine, a blend of Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, is aged on its lees and develops additional complexity in French oak for 2 months before bottling. Complex and textured, with notes of white flowers, lime and exotic fruits.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
