Naturally-fermented Merlot with vibrant fruit and freshness

Working with vines old and new across the Cape, Kleine Oranjerie captures the Cape’s marvellous menagerie of vines in a glass. They campion old vineyards over 35 years old, and source fruit from exceptional sites across the Western Cape. All their wines are gently pressed and naturally-fermented to better to express the unique personality of each grape.

Flora and Fauna Merlot comes from vineyards in Paarl, and the grapes are picked early to capture Merlot’s natural leafiness. Notes of cherry and dark chocolate, crushed minerals and leafiness. Dark plum on the palate, with a silky smooth finish.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
