A zesty, dry rosé from the underrated Côtes de Thongue

Hugues & Roland Géraud are 5th generation wine growers who took over the family estate in 1995 and made the bold decision to stop selling their production ‘en vrac’ (in bulk) to local négociants but to bottle their own wine. They needed to name the estate and settled upon ‘Les Filles de Septembre’ as both brothers have two daughters each, and two of the four were born in September. They farm 40 hectares of vines encompassing lots of Mediterranean and Bordelais varieties. There are about 40 independent wine growers in the Côtes de Thongue which is hoping to be upgraded to full AOC status.

This Provençale-style blend of equal parts Grenache Noir, Cinsault and Syrah, is enriched with Cabernet Franc for freshness, berry fruit flavours and for further smooth body and texture.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
