Fruit-forward Cab Franc, with peppery notes and crunchy acidity

Dominique Joseph has been at the helm of the Domaine since 1990 and is the fifth generation of his family in charge. He converted to organic viticulture in 1992. He has a friendly, direct approach, and this is reflected in his wines.

His Saumur-Champigny is blended from the 50 different plots of the Domaine, usually vines averaging 40 years old on gentle slopes. Macerated for three weeks in concrete vats, this cuvée has an attractive black cherry nose. The palate is packed with peppery, raspberry fruit and is nicely underscored by crunchy acidity.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery. If you spend over £150, delivery is free. Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day.
