Alsatian skin-contact blend from Vins et Volailles

Part of Les Cuvées Militantes from Fleur Godart’s Vin et Volailles – a series of wines to take a stance on sexism, racism and homophobia. The fruit is sourced from Domaine Loberger in Alsace and the wine is made by ‘Jeux des Vins’ (Julien Albertus négoce business). The grapes undergo 1 week of maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks. The wine is unfined, unfiltered and no sulphites were added at any stage of the winemaking process.

Pronounced and expressive nose, combining notes of yellow-fleshed fruits, exotic tones but also delicate floral notes. On the palate it feels just as aromatic, structured with a nice chew yet without excess of tannins. The finish is fresh and salivating.
