Complex and fleshy Cahors Malbec

Run by the exceptionally hard-working Bérenger family, the Domaine is in the hands of Maurin, his wife Marlène (both oenologists), sister Juline and her husband Henri who have diplomas in viticulture. They are one of the only Domaines in Cahors where all the vines are hand-harvested. Hand-harvesting is four times more expensive than machine harvesting, but it prolongs the life of the vine and is the only way to ensure the quality of every grape that goes into the fermentation vat.

Pure Malbec, made from 50 year old vines on a Kimmeridgien limestone soil. It is aged for 12 months in small barrels, resulting in a wine that is fleshy and complex with mineral notes and hints of raspberry.

Local delivery

Local delivery is available within a 10 mile radius of the shop (NE8 2AJ) for a flat fee of £5. If you spend over £75, we will deliver for free.

We deliver Tuesday – Sunday. Order by 5pm for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Need it faster? Order by 12pm for same day delivery, excluding Saturdays.

Collection

Free collection from the shop is always available, and you can collect any time during our normal opening hours. Please place your order by 11am on the day of collection, and collect within 7 days.

UK-wide delivery

Wine orders: We offer a flat-rate of £12 for UK delivery on all wine or mixed orders. Food orders: We offer a flat-rate of £5 for UK delivery if your order contains food products only. If you spend over £150, delivery is free.

Please note, as we are closed Monday and Tuesday, orders received over the weekend may not be shipped until Wednesday. Once dispatched, our courier aims to deliver next day. Excludes Northern Ireland. Some areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge, please contact us to confirm.
