Chatenay – Chiroubles

Serious Beaujolais from the region’s highest Cru

Daniel Bouland is a prolific producer based in Beaujolais, known for producing terroir-driven wines with concentration and precision. This particular release hails from a 0.65-hectare vineyard in Chiroubles, where the vines are 30 years old and grown on light yellow sandstone.

A bright mid-cherry colour, this is a real ‘vin de terroir’. Expect an elegant, fruit-driven wine, with notes of red cherries and raspberries, silky tannins and an intense stony character.
